I have the Epson 2400 printer currently loaded with Matte black. Does anyone have a good method for switching back and forth between Matte black and Photo black? Do I need to do anything special when I load in the PK? Will my cartridge of MK still be ok to use?

I just follow the directions; press the ink change button, swap the MK/PK, and press the ink change button. Note that this uses up a fair bit of ink, so I don't do it often. Dana

The slobs just toss it on the counter next the printer, until they need to switch back. Considering how well the slob technique works, I have a hard time recommending the compulsive technique... <G> C. David Tobie Product Technology Manager ColorVision Business Division DataColor Inc. Terry, If, after changing from Matte black to Photo Black, or vice versa, you go to Page Setup, Properties, Maintenance, Printer and Option information, you then can choose your cartridge option, which will force the correct range of paper options. Better than waiting for it to happen by switching printer off and on, or by repeatedly trying to access the correct range of papers, until the drivers decide to kick in!!
