Hi Everyone,

I just joined the forum and like everyone else I am interested in
making high quality black and white prints. I have some extensive
experience in black and white photography as an avid amature going
back some 20 years. As the digital revolution has advanced I've quite
using my darkroom and 35mm cameras and opted for the ease of working
in daylight.

Currently I have a Nikon D40x 10MP camera, Photoshop elements 3.0 on
a mac, and an epson R220 printer. I would like to consider a wider
format printer in the near future as well.

I would like to learn how I can get the best results with the
equipment I have/and or what I need in the way of inks, printers,
papers to achieve those results.

I have read some articles on the web regarding printing methods, but
technology seems to change so fast that some may be dated already.
What is the best current method/and equipment for printing?

Are there files that will explain all this that are up to date?
Are there any good books or ebooks on the subject?

Thanks for you help in advance.
