Hello Richard, The longest length that the 3800 will print is 37.5 inches. If 
you use Imageprint you can print up to 312in. You would have to use roll 
paper and Im pretty sure that it would have to feed from the back feed.

Hmmm ... Imageprint is very costly, is it not? What about Qimage? Also, I assume that with QTR the length limitation would also be able to be circumvented.

The limit is imposed by the Epson driver. QImage relies on the Epson
driver. Therefore, QImage cannot print longer than 37.4 inches.

ImagePrint bypasses the Epson driver. Therefore, ImagePrint has the
ability to print longer than 37.4 inches, and indeed does so. But a
license costs $895.

If you will be printing many of your images longer than this length,
consider another printer.
