Although I don't discount that logic, we still wade through a bunch of stuff. One can't avoid it.

If you use CS2 or 3 for example, you need a forum for that, 400 members on that one. If you use an Nikon, need a forum for that too, 1100 members on that one. Even this forum will discuss things that doesn't apply to everyone.

Yes, of course, but think how much worse it might be if we didn't
enforce our guidelines now and then.  It isn't a completely rigid line
and often these other subjects are at least periferally related to
printing, such as the recent one about the CS3 printer dialog, which I
found very helpful. We do wander about on occasion but we are pretty
much a self-regulating organism and the machinery does swing into
action from time to time.  

I think Jules' inquiry deserved an explanation lest he go away
thinking we're a bunch of inhospitable neanderthals.  Any attempt to
explain how it works will almost surely bring exceptions to mind, but
I think over all this is a very successful forum and the model has worked.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
