Digital BW, The Print

after installing my new UT7 set of cartridges in the 2100/2200 the 
indicators of the Black and Light Black ink keep flashing. After 
replacing the black cartridge with the original Epson cartridges every 
thing is OK.
I tried everything such as resetting the chip pulling out extra ink 
without result. Up to now I did not receive an answer from MIS for this 
problem,

Is there anybody who experienced the same problem or can help me out?

If I cannot solve the problem I will have a new set of inkbottles for 
sale because I will give up

Has anyone had experience printing black only with
ImagePrint ?
My workflow will be:
define ink limit then linearize the obtained curve.
I know I can do that with QTR but I'm wondering if a
similar workflow would be possible with ImagePrint.
