You might like the Museo Portfolio Rag for your portraits of Native  
Americans. It is a heavy, warm rag with excellent blacks and clear white base,  not 
cream colored.
You didn't say which inkset you plan to use......I'm using Cone inks  (split 
K7 & NK7) as well as ImagePrint UC and K3.
