Still no refillable cartridges for Epson 3800?

Hi all,
I've not been active here for quite some time, so I didn't follow most
of the discussions.
I'm currently having some very severe clogging/air issues with my Epson
2100. So, once again the time is there to consider an Epson 3800.
But I would like to be able to refill my cartridges. I searched this
group, checked out some ink companies (including MIS) and did some
google searches. But I can't find any pointers to refillable
cartridges. So I must assume they're still not available. Is that
correct? Are there any ("reliable") rumours? Or has Epson done its work
too well and added a much better chip protection preventing re-
engineering?
