Cheap heavyweight paper? (about 300gsm)

Cheap heavyweight paper? (about 300gsm)

2007-10-25 by Richard Smallfield

Hi,
I've been printing my business cards on Sparrowhawk but it's a bit light - I wondered if anyone had found a heavier paper suitable for business cards. I'm reluctant to use my Entrada 300 because it's a bit expensive.

It doesn't have to be archival.

thanks,
Richard

You may want to check Breathing Color Sterling 300g

http://www.breathingcolor.com/bc/catalog/index.php?cPath=202

I used three boxes of this paper (25 sheets of 13x19 at $35.16 each)
and found that it prints quite well on the R2400 with MIS inks. Since
then I have been using other papers because (1) it curls badly and
(2) it is probably loaded with OBAs. But other than that I found that
it is a nice paper, both for b&w and color.

Regards,

Manuel
