Epson Chip Holder

Epson Chip Holder

2007-11-16 by Paul Roark

I was curious just how easy it would be to fabricate a device that would
hold Epson (clone) chips in place inside a desktop printer so that a
continuous flow system could be used that is made of simple tubing and Epson
dampers. I'm happy to say it took me less than 2 hours to make a device
that works. See http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Epson-Chip-Holder.pdf

I have no idea whether Epson has any patents that affect this. I certainly
have never read any of their materials or materials summarizing any of their
patents that contain any information relating to how one might make a device
like this. The cheap device I made is simply an obvious solution to the
problem.

Have fun.

You are definately on the right track there Paul. What we need for all
these machines is a mechanism to attach CFS units to and depart with
carts altogether.

Also really going after the environmental waste issue in response to
the throw away cartridge concept fits nicely with any and all kinds of
 user refill systems.
