Digital BW, The Print

I usually make some notations in pencil on the back of my prints done on
matte paper. However the resin coated and fibre papers do not take
pencil markings.

I'm concerned with ink (even archival ink) bleeding through to the print
side over the long term, and of course non-archival tapes/labels are
out. Any suggestions for marking the backs of prints on such papers?
