New Canon iPF 6100 vs. HP vs Epson

New Canon iPF 6100 vs. HP vs Epson

Could someone answer this question? I notice the new Canon printers
feature " Kyuanos incorporates the advanced Ambient Light Adjustment
function for select media,* which optimizes output for differences in
lighting conditions for consistent color in accordance with different
lighting environments." Does this mean that the color of the print is
adjusted for the lighting condition and that the print viewed under a
different lighting situation would look different? I know that this is
a B&W list and that is what I mostly print but I'd think it would
effect toned B*W prints as well.
JH

P.S. I haven't noticed that the new HP printers even mention this which
leads me to ask if this is a problem with the Canon inks or if they are
the only ones addressing a problem they all have.
