prefilled mis carts - refillable? R1800

2008-01-18 by espen.aasheim

Hi.

I just have a quick question..
The prefilled mis 3mk carts i bought from mis looks to be exactly the
same as the empty refillable carts i bought from mis for the r1800..
I have tried removing and replacing the fill plug with success..
Could this be the case? that I can refill these used carts I have?

I could just try and see myself, but I don't know what could go wrong...

thanks,

espen

Espen,

I believe the pre-filled carts are the same as the empty, easy-refill
carts. MIS might use a different stopper. So, you may have to use a
little jeweler's screwdriver or the like to remove it.

Hi Paul.

That was what I hoped for.
Could you explain what a stopper? Is that the plug they use?
And the chips, I expect they'd be resettable with the SSC?

Thanks

Yes. You remove the plug when filling the cartridge.

I use a chip resetter from MIS.
