BO printing with piezo K6 black?

BO printing with piezo K6 black?

2008-02-07 by warinstephan

I decided to dedicate a Stylus 1290 to BW.
I hesitated between piezo and BO printing with MIS museum black,
I finally ordered piezography K6 CIS kit.
But I would like also to try BO, so my question is:

can I try BO printing with the black (shade 1) of K6?

Is MIS museum black darker than the black from K6?

If MIS museum black is darker, can I replace shade 1 of K6 by MIS
museum black and use it for BO printing and piezo printing (with the 5
others piezo inks)?
Thanx

Usually refers to selecting "black" rather than "color" in the print driver. But printers can fill all the cartridge slots with black and gray inks, so it can be as difficult/involved/controlled as one wants.

Yes, BO is Black-only printing.

I can ask my question in a different way saying:

Wich ink has the deepest black (Dmax)on HPR (Hahnemuehle Photo Rag
paper):
- MIS Ebony or piezography black?(from K6 inks)?
