MIS vs nik B/W Conversion

I'm curious about the comments from users of the MIS inks, UT7 specifically, printing color files using adjusted profiles and users of nik efex Color Pro 3 B/W Conversion filter printing those RGB files using normal printer profiles. I have an Epson 1280 set up to use the MIS UT7 inkset w/ the profiles available from several sources. I'm considering shifting to the nik Color Pro 3 B/W conversion filter and, maybe, their paper toners filter. Interested in your comments...Thanks, Mike Brouphy
