Looking for enlargers.

Looking for enlargers.

2008-04-15 by Walker Blackwell

Hey everyone. I'm renovating a darkroom up at University of Vermont.
We have a tight budget and I'm looking for darkroom donations (tax
deductible) if anyone is interested. We can pay your shipping costs.
We are looking for well-cared-for enlargers, focus screens, easels, an
alignment tool (if anyone has one they are willing to sell used too),
and general "dry-side" equipment.

It's funny that I'm even emailing this, digital as I am, but silver is
still totally valid in the educational environment whatever the debate
in the rest of the art world.

You can contact me at this email.

All the best,
Walker

ps: I have a bunch of different papers coming for ABW profiles. I will
post ICCs within a few weeks.

Walker:
I'm not ready to part with my Beseler, but I have a couple of easels I won't
be needing, 11x14 Saunders and a Beseler 11x14 and a 16x20 (heavy). I've got
safelites and a Midge-O dryer as well. All in storage.

I am ready to part with my Zone VI enlarger but not ready to give it
away. Sorry about that.

I understand. It's a ZoneVI. :-)

D2s are the ones we are looking for. Response has been great
everybody. Thank you so much!

Well, after working with both, I'll take a free D2 over a VI any day, unless
the Zone VI comes with an Aristo Head and Metrolux II timer : )

mine, 5x7 variable contrast, was installed new and used for session,
then I made my first good ink B&W print.
Has not been used since. Hope to find a good home for it around here
some day, can't afford to give it away...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
