MIS inks for the 3800 using ABW

MIS inks for the 3800 using ABW

2008-04-20 by steveabrink

I'm impressed with the ABW mode but I'm not a fan of the brownish (or
warmer) K3 PK & MK inks. I have used Eboni in other printers and it
makes a subtle improvement. I'd like to know if the same holds true for
the MIS gloss black as compared to Epson photo black? And if so, is
there a way to get Eboni & gloss blacks for the 3800 80 ml cartridges
(refill kits or loaded carts i.e.)? I dont believe MIS offers
this...? And while were at it, concerning the LK & LLK inks, would
there also be any improvement using the MIS blacks over the Epson inks
in terms of it possibly being more cooler toned blacks...?

Thanks in advance!

The glossy MIS blacks and grays are not neutral. Only Eboni seems to
have that characteristic.
