ABW prints on the Exhibition Fiber

ABW prints on the Exhibition Fiber

2008-05-07 by steveabrink

I'm currently using the Harman fiber glossy and Ilford fiber gold as my
2 main B&W papers. With the Harman I get super results, and with the
Ilford a close 2nd but it needs 2 coats of print shield to remove the
gloss differential. Theres also still a sheen left ... However, the
Ilford is half the price. How does the new spendy Epson paper compare?
Also, does anyone know of a matte paper with great blacks ... I use
Hahn... Photorag and Moab entrada.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the new Epson is expensive, but I think it's worth the price. At
least for me, using it on Epson 3800 with the ABW profile made by Eric
Chan. I get better results than with Hahn.

Luca,

Have you found a way to cure pizza wheel marks with Exhibition Fiber? I
was unable to print that paper on my 3800 without them and have ruled
it out because of that and its expense.

Derek,

I never had pizza wheel with EEF, except one time, being the paper
longitudinally a little bending.I'm very careful to have the sheet
perfectly flat and no problem.
