EZ Ultratone and Eoson C88+

EZ Ultratone and Eoson C88+

2008-06-23 by dpbreger

I've been unable to find a direct answer to this question: will MIS
EZ Ultratone Cartridges work as readily and as well with the Epson
C88+ as with the C88? Any modifications necessary?
Thanks.
Paul

I believe MIS EZ will run the same on the C88+ as on the C88. Frankly,
I'm not sure if there are any significant differences between those
models.

I started with the C84s and EZ inks, and when those ran out at the Epson
Clearance center I switched to C88s. They took the same cartridge but a
different chip (although my CIS worked on both without changing chips.)
When it was time to get another C88 (I like to keep a spare on hand) it
looked like all Epson had were the 88+ models, and I called MIS to see
if there was a problem. Was told the same cartridges and chips worked
in both models. As it turned out the next one I got just said "C88"
without any plus mark, so I'm not sure if it was a + model or not.

In any event, on the Epson site, the same cartridge numbers are
specified for both printers.

Cheers,
Kip
