K7 Linearization with StudioPrint V12

K7 Linearization with StudioPrint V12

2008-07-02 by edshrider

I am ready to convert my 7600 to B&W printing using K7 inks. I have
already successfully linearized and profiled several papers for color
using StudioPrint V12. Can anyone give me a brief summary what the
StudioPrint procedure is linearizing/profiling for B&W vs color?

you should join this group-
http://groups.google.com/group/Studioprint?hl=en
Look through the posts there, and also ask.

Also create a login account at ergosoftus.com. In the download section
there is a paper on creating and linearizing K7 setups.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to try the existing QTR provided profiles as
well, just to make sure everything is working well before continuing
on with StudioPrint.

Look for Walker's posts. He has a lot of x600 K7 StudioPrint tweak
hours in...
