Hi All,

Now that the redesign of DIMi is basically done we can get back to content.

The winner and finalists in this competition are up at:
http://www.dimagemaker.com/article.php?articleID=1422

Congratulations to Zach Stern for winning and to all the finalists for some stunning work.

DIMi's new competitions will go up over the weekend.

Cheers,

Wayne

Re: A World of Infrared Photography Exhibition & Competition Winner

I posted it here because I thought people might enjoy the photography.

The entire page has 7 ads, only one in the body of the article, and
most of the rest small and not objectionable. That is hardly full.
No one has to pay or click on an ad, they can see the images and
indeed enter the competitions for free.

Might I point out that Yahoo is a multi billion dollar business that
benefits off of our activity here and your post even has a link to a
highly commercial site.

Frankly I am so over these hysterics that blow up from individuals. I
am not selling anything to you. End of story. It is the same as ads
in a magazine article, except you didn't have to buy the magazine.
Get over it. If the moderators want me off the list, I'll go. But I
see nothing wrong with occasionally pointing people to something
useful, whether it is on my site or someone else, when it is on topic
and costs no one anything. There would be no objection if I pointed
people to some other article on another ad supported site. To me that
is a huge double standard.
