printing with double sided paper on r1800...possible?

printing with double sided paper on r1800...possible?

2008-11-20 by Sarah Renkes

I can't seem to do it. Feeding moab from the rear, goes in fine and prints first side. Won't print second pass, spits the paper out every time.

Overall I'm still having trouble with this printer feeding from the front, even after cleaning the
roller, so the rear feed is my only option. Anyone have a tip for me?

thanks,
Sarah

There should be no reason you can't do this. However, I'd feed from
the top, not the rear. Personally, I've always found Epsons to be
finicky with rear feed. That said, my older 4000 has often done the
same thing. I've sometimes found turning the printer off, then back on
seems to "reset" it

Thanks, Nemo. I think I may have a rum printer. Top feed is rarely possible, with any
paper. I'm constantly having to turn it off to reset it when the paper won't feed....from
either end.

Prints with 3mk are impressive....printer is not.
