epson 1400 maiden voyage

2008-12-09 by Steve

In order not to repeat others mistakes, I would appreciate any help in
regard to set up as a dedicated b&w printer.

I would like to use the refillable cartridges. Any paper suggestions
would be greatly appreciated. Having clogged a c86 beyond repair, I
would also appreciate suggestions as to how to avoid it with this
printer.

Additionally, I know this isn't the forum to discuss photoshop/lr
questions, but as to "printing" from either of these programs, any
help is welcomed.

Thank you

Steve

steve,
One thing I've learned about preventing clogs is: USE IT OR IT WILL
CLOG! That is, regular printing and nozzel checks will help prevent
clogs. For added info see messages posted on this group and the
epson wide format group. Finally, communicate your concerns to your
ink supplier who should have lots of good advice in this regard.
Sorry to have yelled.

Move to quarantaine
