has any one used inkrepublic R2880 CIS? Any experience? I've seen some real good reviews of
their R2400, 2200, r1900 and 1280, but this new epson printer,2880, seems to have very
different chip reader and resetting process.

I also consider loading MIS UT-2 ink to inkrepublic's R280 (the successor of R260), any
compatibility issue?

The InkRepublic CIS I just installed in a R1800, is the third, and best
I have purchased. I think it is the best thought out design, and I
like the dampers over the converted refillable cartridges most CIS
systems use.

When I first ordered the system, someone goofed and sent me a system
for the R800. InkRepublic sent me the needed correct parts quickly
without the hassel of an RMA and wait. Customer service which is
unusual today.

The system was very easy to install and had less bugs to be
worked out then the other two I had used before. Also, the end
appearence is neat, and clean. The only thing I modified was the caps
on the ink bottles. I drilled a second small hole in each so I could
refill them with a syrange without removing the caps, or bottle form
the case. These bottles were designed to be used as ink resivores, and not bottles with holes drilled in their caps and tubes inserted. I like the waste ink tank that came with the system as
well. No more pad changing!

If their other CIS systems are as good, I would not hasitate getting
another. For a matter of fact, I would consider theirs first.
