new member introduction

Hello, I am a new member. Have been involved in photography all my life. I am an old fogey,
retired. Now concentrating on landscape photography of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison
National Park. I want to produce highest quality BW prints. Lots to learn. My MAC Powerbook
drives an Epson 2200. I work only in matt paper. Look forward to learning and contributing
something to the group.

Welcome! That sounds like quit an ambitious and honorable project. Driving that little tour boat up in the Curecanti
Wilderness area is very high on my wishlist of part-time "retirement" jobs.

Best, Robert

Robert, That is one of the first things on my to do list when it starts up in the spring. Have
never taken the boat trip. Go figure.

Please have a look at the articles at the link below, there's lots of
good information to help get started, especially with the 2200.
