would like screen shot of Epson R1400 print menu

would like screen shot of Epson R1400 print menu

2009-06-07 by Paul Whiting

Hello,

Am interested in the R1400 because it sounds like it does quality BO printing with only one Eboni cartridge. Could someone post a screen shot of the print menu from the Epson software? I'm using an Epson 220 and 1800 now, and find the 220's single cartridge Eboni setup very satisfactory for small projects such as notecards and 5 x 7's, in a variety of file formats. With the R1800 I have to use QTR, which requires tiff files with a GG-to-QTR layer to print good B/W photos, and not all of my files are in the tiff format.

I'd like to see the screen shot because it would verify for me that is has the BO option I have in the R220. That printer is showing signs of age, and is not manufactured any more.

Thanks!

The 1400 does not have a BO option in the Windows driver. I use QTR to
print BO, instead.

Thanks for the quick reply, Andrew.

Hmm. that's not what I wanted to hear! I really do like the QTR setup for my large tiff files, but I want to be able to print BO from other files, including, believe it or not, some WordPerfect files - in the .wpd format! Maybe there's a way to convert those to tiff files.

At any rate, you've provided me with good information, much appreciated.
