Digital BW, The Print

Hi Folks,
Looks like my old Epson 1280 is not going to last much longer.
I'm using Ink Supplys EB6 ink set with a CIS from Inkjetfly that
has worked very well.  Can someone recommend a good 6 ink printer
for a replacement?  Thanks

I've been using an Epson 1400 since my B&W 1280 gave up the ghost in November..I'm using it in conjuction with Paul Roark's "UT-14" inkset from MIS with his curves, and with QTR..The 1400 is a GREAT improvement over the 1280..ATLEX.com has them for sale at $179 including shipping..You can gravitate to Paul Roark's info from the MIS site..Good Luck!

    Eddie is the 1400 giving you any problem with head clogging?
    I assume the UT inks and the Eboni would behave similarly.
    My 1280 is finished I think.  I see B&H is out but their price
    was $169.95 and free shipping.

No clogging issues at all......Atlex has recently raised their price..I assume they had a "deal" with Epson that is now over, however there are now others that may have that "same" deal..I've gone through 3 1280's and this 1400 is a MUCH better printer IMHO..
