Dear Sam,
I hope it will not show in this post I`m writing now.
I sent, as a test, some e-mails for myself directed to my addresses in Yahoo ( the one I`m using at this moment ) and to my Gmail with the same computer ( Mac G5/OS10.4.11) through Safari, No problems. I don`t use any e-mail software other than yahoo and gmail ( Outlook, Apple's Mail, etc) so as I can always see my e-mails form any machine, any place.
Thanks for correcting my words ( my english is very poor ) : It is not a shame but still embarrassing, indeed.
Renato

I don't know what it is, Renato.
But I don't see any connection between these problems in e-mail text
and the Safari browser. So I would postpone upgrading it for now. Or
changing anything else until you identify the source of this problem.
My guess is that it's a problem with your e-mail software. Notice
below that the same "A" which was inserted before your text in your
post was also inserted before Mark's text in his post. But only in
your software's quote of Mark's post; it was not inserted in the copy
of his post which I got from Yahoo. Neither were the extra line breaks.
Your keyboard occurs to me as another possibility, maybe in
conjunction with your e-mail software.
In any case, I think it is just another computer problem, not "a
shame". We are all victims of it to various degrees, usually in my
experience due to a logical expectation of a machine programmed by
mistake to let us down. And, of course it's embarrassing, but there's
no shame in it. It is however annoying not to know how it happens. So
I hope you will keep us informed. In the meantime, I'm going to think
of the extra "A"s and blank spaces as a bonus. 8)
