I have HP-PK in the C position, and it prints very well in a black only mode with QTR.

I don't have the Ilford stats.
I like the HP BO. On my 1400 it doesn't band and has reasonably mild bronzing (less than diluted versions without glop).
I use it for brochures, keeping 5 dilutions of Eboni for the serious fine art printing.
