How many rolls of film do you shoot before you hit an exhibition
quality shot? Time and processing for all that. How many sellable shots
a year? Time an processing for that. etc etc. you are selling art, so
how much value added for that etc etc. I´m selling 10x10inch prints on
Photorag for 500euros. I´m averaging (since december, and upped this
month due to a bulk sales) 2.5 prints a month. I need to charge
1000usd. I shoot 30 rolls of film a week.

Julian,
I am not sure You understood me right. I meant only the service.
That means, someone comes to me and want's me to print his photo on my
printer with my inks and my paper.
I didn't mean selling my own work to clients. That of course has a
totally different value.

cheers

I suggest you have a minimum service fee to cover your time. Per print pricing is up to you. More than a machine print from local lab. Multiple copies should be discounted (one of the advantages) and special offers made for multiples.

  There must be a misunderstanding.
I only meant the prize of the sevice. That means, someone comes to me
and wants me to print one of his photgraphs on my system, with my
  inks and paper.
Selling my own work printed with MIS VM is a different story.
  cheers,

  Piotr

No problem.
May I use this opportunity to ask You a technical question?
Somebody on the list mentioned a while ago that You were succesfully
using the Kodak Ultima Satin.
From what I have understood, You spray the prints right after they
come out of the printer. Do You use also a special paper profile?

Thank You

Piotr
