Digital BW, The Print

Since so much of what we discuss has to do with longevity of materials and inks, this might  
be interesting to those who are local to the San Francisco area. Sadly, I'll be out of town and 
will miss it.

Here's an exerpt from the email I received from them:

Gawain is a photography conservator, author, teach and consultant based in San Rafael, 
Californi. In his gallery talk Gawain will give an overview of the stability of photographic 
processes from the invention of photography, including today's digital  printing 
technologies . He will discuss practical guidelines for the care of  your photographs, and a 
question and answer period will follow. So please join us for this rare opportunity .

perhaps you could bring up with him the problematic lack of support by the conservator, archivist, and gallery community for our most valuable asset, by far, in this area-
