I had somewhat similar problem - the fuse would blow maybe once in 10 times when powering the case on. And it is a brand new case, with new 1.2 A power supply. Mr. Doepfer advised to use higher value than 0.5 A fuse, and he sent me two different kinds (0.63, and 0.8 A fuses), because I could not find these values in local stores in Montreal (they sell 0.5 A and 1 A only). I am using 0.63 A fuse (slow blow of course) at the moment, and it did not blow on me yet.
