Doepfer

Hi Everyone,

I purchased a Doepfer A-113 Subharmonic Generator on eBay from what I
believe is a reliable seller. I plugged the unit into a new Analogue
Systems RS-15 case (I'll never buy another -- too unpredictable) along
with some other modules, including a pair of VCAs. Everything powered
up fine. 

I plugged a cord from the VCA to my mixer, and the LEDs on the A-113
dimmed. (The A-113 was NOT patched to the VCA or any module, for that
matter.) I plugged another cable to another VCA, and the LEDs dimmed
even more. Then they went out, never to return. 

The A-113 doesn't work now. For what it's worth, the VCAs were sharing
the same power bus with the A-113. A couple of bus fuses blew when the
A-113 went, but it seems that this didn't protect the A-113 from damage.

Any ideas what happened? Any suggestions on what's wrong with the
A-113? I'm truly bummed out.
