The smaller ones are best for flanging and karplus strong.
I have the 512 and 4096, i love both but the 512 is nicer/ more useful to
me. the 4096 is an echo.  I really think I'll get a 256 next.  Really I
think the smaller ones have a more flexible palette of sounds, but of course
not the longer delays.
By the time you get to 4096 it starts sounding digital in a way, more like a
circuit bent unit unless you filter it, not a bad thing, I love it, but the
smaller ones have a much richer, thicker sound.
