Doepfer

The case wasn't cheap: as I recall, a bit more than £1,000, but that includes all the rails, 
power supply and trunk lines. It is a beautiful piece of joinery. It even smells nice. I never 
felt that I had paid too much for it! The RS8000 would obviously be a good bit less 
because it's half the size. But the RS8500 will swallow a lot of modules and it looks just 
great.  

Bob  Williams specifically told me that if you devoted a row to Doepfer modules then they 
would fit perfectly: it's only if you mix Doepfer and A Sys modules in one row that gaps 
appear. 

Do get in touch with Bob. He's very keen to help and knows his stuff.
