They'll be powered separately, there's no > problem there...will I have any trouble with audio levels or, more > importantly, CV? > > Thanks! > usually there is no problem, but sometimes the cv-ranges are different. the "standard" blacet vca's need a voltage of +10 volts to open up completely, the doepfer vca's need +5 volts. so doepfer eg's and blacet vca's don't make a good combination. one special case is the blacet frequency divider, which can produce a voltage of +15 volts at one output. some doepfer modules can be damaged when a voltage greater than +12 volts is presented to certain inputs (f.e. a150, a151, a155), so you have to be careful with that blacet divider, if you will ever get one (it is discontinued). best wishes ingo
