No it's the opposite. Two equal capacitors in parallel double the capacity
and consequently even double the period (or half the frequency)

We never had problems with Conrad though we order only very little from
them. And with capacitors there should occur no problems. If you need only a
few capacitors you can get them for free from us if we add it to another
module order (or if you send an envelope with stamps). Capacitors are cheap
(about 0.10 to 0.50 Euro only depending on the value) and the shipping
charges are probably more than the capacitors.
