the second version is exactly what i need, since i'm doing a lot of inning and outing to 
process live audio. the wet/dry function and the fx-mute are welcome features.

i'm not sure if i would use it as a crossfader. i would certainly rather see a mute switch 
than a polarity switch.

i would be likely to buy 2 of these and sell one of the a119's.

and of course, the tape echo is champing at the bit...
