I will see if there is enough space to double the output sockets. Should be
possible.
Inverted gate outputs are not planned as there is no electronics available
on the module.
I dont't understand the function of a mute function. If you don't want a
gate simply do not operate the buttons.

Of course. The switches have three positions: left (voltage is subtracted),
center (no function), right (voltage is added).
If the share of the subtracted voltages is higher than the added voltages
the result is a negative output voltage.
