Is my A-137 faulty?

2007-08-15 by jalmari3

I can't duplicate the folded triangle waveforms shown in the A-137
manual (chapter 2). The shown waveforms consist of straight lines, but
I get rounded waveforms.

Here is an example oscilloscope view:
http://www.esnips.com/doc/278f44e2-ce2a-4ff1-8f17-1f7ef5d795d7/A-
137_weirdness_1
(I hope the link isn't too long for Yahoo.)
The settings are:
- All CV inputs at full counter clockwise and unplugged
- Input level at 12'o clock
- Multiples at 9'o clock
- Folding level at 12'o clock
- Symmetry at 12'o clock
- Harmonics at full counter clockwise

Questions:
- Is this the expected output on these settings
- Why does a triangle input get rounded?
- What settings should give the straight line waveforms shown in the
manual?

Best regards and thank you for your time
