This can be silence at the max/min points of the LFO but even max. audio level according to the setting of the attenuator. If a positive CV is used (e.g. from an ADSR) the offset is normally set to zero. In technical terms: Whenever the sum of the voltage generated by the manual control and the external CV is zero or negative all CV outputs of the A-144 are zero.
