Hello all,

I admittedly haven't had a chance to play around much with this combo but I'm wondering 
about a couple of things:

When using the manual morph knob, there seems to be "dead space" at the extreme 
clockwise and counterclockwise positions. That is to say, there are only audible results 
between "9 and 3 o'clock". Is this normal?

Also, when trying to morph through the cv in with a 145 LFO, there also seems to be a lot of 
dead space in the trajectory of the wave, especially at slower rates. 

Can anyone tell me how to get slow continuous morphing between the 4 inputs of the 135?

Okay...

I think I'm starting to get this.....in terms of the LFO, the 144 only responds
to positive voltages so that would explain the silence during the negative part of the LFO
wave, yes? So how does one set up an automatic morph that just keeps going like (CV 
outs) 1 2 3 4 3 2 1 2 3 4 3 2 1 etc.? The manual seems to indicate that the gain>0 on the 
135 would accomplish this but I'd like to be able to do it without the constant sound of
the inputs in addition to the morphing.

Oh, and I still haven't figured out the dead areas on the manual morph knob.

Sorry for the noobishness but I'm hoping to learn something from you guys.

yes and no: you can add an offset with the manual control to the attenuated
external CV. If a bipolar (i.e. negative and positive voltages, e.g. from an
LFO) CV is used you have to add an offset to avoid the silence during the
negative part of the LFO wave (~ center position of the "Man. Morph."
Control). The attenuator of the CV input is adjusted to obtain the desired
behaviour. This can be silence at the max/min points of the LFO but even
max. audio level according to the setting of the attenuator. If a positive
CV is used (e.g. from an ADSR) the offset is normally set to zero.

In technical terms: Whenever the sum of the voltage generated by the manual
control and the external CV is zero or negative all CV outputs of the A-144
are zero. If the sum is in the range 0...+5V you are in the working area. If
the sum goes beyond +5V all outputs are zero again.
