Hi Sam, Check that all the socketted ICs are well seated, especially the small 8-pin DIL at the top edge of the board, marked '24C16' - that is an EEPROM chip and very likely is where such information is stored when the power is off. (The square chip below it, 44 pins, is the processor, and left of that, another DIL, with 28 pins, is the ROM chip holding the software. The only other socketted chip on mine is a MAX531, a digital-to-analog converter, so it is unlikely to be that causing the problem.) If that doesn't fix it, then you're going to need some proper help I suspect!
