hi dave, you have to log on to yahoo regardless whether you have a
yahoo email account. just get a yahoo email account and use only it
for the groups which is what i do. second, when you log on, you can
access the your email by simply clicking email. third, let's say you
you are suscribed to a group that has a low traffic level, you can
route the posts to yahoo email account and read them all at once and
save the ones worth saving and having in one email folder to resort
to later, instead of constantly checking each group out to see if
they had a post or not.

 when i see something

i am not implying that pejoratively of all members, it's just some
people don't have the time to do polls or like you said it is a
hassle and or can't figure it out. no disrespect to anyone.
let's try and work it out for all the people who can't.
peace and regards,
RM
