i hate to bring up old issues. the situation here is like having 
warts on your skin, if you don't treat them properly with medication  
they won't go away by themselves. so a good way to end this issue is 
to actually solve the problem and not sweep it under the rug all time 
and hope it disappears. i understand your position, but to the people 
who own them it is a problem, save a few who like to live in a 16th 
note world. it has been 4 years of we have an upgrade coming to 
placate the people who do want to get on with 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and whole 
notes in their musicmaking and a few more functions and proper sync.

all you you have to do is read the posts on this site and the Doepfer 
ez board forum to understand that it is a problem that needs a 
solution. people are letting go of their machines at a loss to recoup 
some of their money invested in these machines. the front panels are 
gorgeous, just not gorgeous to use and are severely under powered in 
today's world of electronic components.
