Thanks a lot again for your time Dieter, > One problem is that the Midi pitch bend is not an absolute but relative > parameter. The Midi data range 0...127 may result in +/- one semitone, +/- a > quint, octave or whatwever. It depends upon the setting at the receiver. I set the a-190 to two semitones bend width, because that's the value that worked previously on the dx7. indeed it now gives the same results as the dx7, so thanks for the hints, this means it can be done 'in theory'... however... the Microtuning plugin suddenly isn't predictable anymore... I can not think of any reason at all, but somehow I cannot reproduce the same results that I got yesterday with this plugin. it's a shame, even if it is free and it's in beta, still it should do more than it does now, which is semi randomly bend a note here and there If anyone has a better solution instead of Tobybear Microtuning I would like to hear about it (I've tried Scala Microtuning Midi Relay before, that doesn't work for me either) Anton > You could also assign pitch bend to CV2.
