Yes. The patch i described for Stu generates a control voltage from the
A-190 clock to drive the CV input of the A-188-1/2, but not the clock input
! The A-162/A-170 combination derives a voltage that is (in theory)
proportional to the clock frequency of the A-190. And this is used to drive
the high speed VCO of the A-188-1/2.

no. It has to be connected to the CV input !
