hi, try putting your adsr through a slew limiter. i'm not promising a 303, but you'll notice how much of the "sound" is indeed due to the envelopes, as claimed in those links. you get a less exponential curve which, for my tastes anyway, makes a huge improvement to many classic subtractive sounds, especially acidic ones. (another thing is to feed the filter back into its own cv2 input - i use an a122 and don't have an a103, and still it can (!) sound very acidy.) stu
