this depends on what you think of as "better".

the 111 is somewhat cleaner sounding and can be used at higher  
frequencies more reliably. it features soft-sync and linear FM (but  
you can "hack" a 110 to sport these features too, they're available  
on the PCB). the 110 on the other hand has a higher output level and  
a rougher sound, which can result in more "phat" at times.
personally i'm quite happy to have both in my rack.
