Most of these useless modules have been suggested and discussed by the members of this group ! We never promised to have available Mac based editor programs as we have no programmer in the company who is familiar with Mac programming. I have mentioned this several times and there is a corresponding note on our website too. I understand that this is a drawback but I have no short-term solution. If there is somebody in this group who is able to program such a software I'd be happy to pay him for this job. > Same with MAQ 16/3 that with a newer OS could be an awesome > machine instead of a decorative item. If you tell me what you are missing we could try to start a discussion on a civilized base. We have already developed an improved main board for the MAQ16/3 (with more memory and CV/Gate outputs). So I think you cannot accuse us that there is no support for older devices. But please keep in mind that there are limitation due to the microprocessor used in the MAQ16/3 (8051 derivate) and not everything is possible that may be desirable. Even the available controls (only 8 buttons with LEDs and the 3-digit display) limit the possibilities for a software update. From my point of view even with the current software the controls are already a bit overstrained. > I think now that Doepfer is UNABLE to develope even a toaster ( > What about a CV toaster, perhaps is more " Doepfer style..... ) Excellent idea. How about a poll ;-) Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
