To me, the main interest in the module version is that you can put several ones side to side, making a larger keyboard (and I'm not interested in having several TKB). So I think a module with desktop option would be the best idea because with the rack version, you'll have the screws and stuff between the TKB breaking the scale of the musical intervals (I hope this sentence is correct and you'll understand it). I'll probably take the desktop option anyway, I need a standalone box and I don't want to have to build another 'cabinet' so that I have the keyboard at the right height. I just want to be able to put it on a table and play, especially for live... About the size of the module, in my opinion, 84HP is good. I thought about 80HP too, so that you can put it in the A100 portable suitcase (with switch on the front panel) but I noticed that the bottom edge of the suitcase is really prominent and could disturb the playing... My humble thoughts about this poll and TKB. This keyboard is THE thing from Doepfer that I'm waiting for ( I refresh the Doepfer.de twice a day to see if there are any news about it !!) and I hope it will be manufactured one day !
